The Bonnie Doon Hotel is a prominent landmark in the town of Bonnie Doon, Victoria, famously associated
with the phrase "How's the serenity?" from the classic 1997 Australian film The Castle. The hotel itself uses
this pop-culture connection in its marketing, inviting visitors to experience the "serenity" for themselves.
Originally established in the late 19th century, the town and its pub were moved to higher ground in 1956
to make way for the enlargement of Lake Eildon. The pub serves as a community hub in a region famously
known for fishing, boating, and scenic rural views.

"How's the serenity?"

Well, it was pretty serene...other than the cars and some really noisy Harleys driving/riding past.

Bit of a quiet RTE (number wise) this month compared to what we've had over the previous few months but those that attended still had an enjoyable time.
The food was good and the company was great, what more could you ask for?
A big thankyou to those that made the effort to attend...











            "Someone" (who shall remain nameless) forgot the flag so I had to improvise...

Nice turnout, just the same. Life is really getting in the middle of these.
Stopped outside that RTE on the way back from Woods Point today.
