I figure the documentation is just a piece of paper anyway.
You know what you have done - and that's what is important.
Well done.

Shiney, Teela and myself are setup in Red Barons back yard!

Here is Shiney, Red Baron (Chris) and myself, he has a very nice blue Honda ST1100  :bl11

We covered Middleton to Bendigo today only 700kms, rather humble compared to the rest of the mad crew covering huge k's

No off turtle - was having micro sleeps , so should have just pulled over.
I foolishly battled on, missed the turn off & by the time I snapped out of it I was half way through the national park with fuel running low. Consulted the map book & decided to battle on .
All ended well. Only myself to blame.

Got home to Perth at Wednesday at 1:30pm after stopping in at Kalgoorlie, Turtle came all the way through. We both left Ceduna at 7:15am on Tuesday morning and I could not go the distance that Turtle has. I had to stop and sleep. I have completed 5910 km. :wht11
Thank you for a great time. :thumbs

We have thrown the anchor out and doing the tourist thing and "relo run".....Geelong to Bairnsdale today via Wilsons prom after a 11am ferry from Queenstown....off to the Vic Highcountry tomrrw, Mt Hotham closed during day for repairs, will head up to Falls Crk via Anglers Rest tomorrow, it's sealed now so I am informed.

It's a beautiful run - lots of twisties. New road is a bit harsh on the tyres, though!
Have fun.

That road is great. Came up it from Omeo on the way to Bright the back way. Just watch for the log trucks here and there on the Omeo Highway.  It is an effort in concentration, depending on how fast you want to do it.  Fantastic scenery, aprt from my fuel pump deciding not to work 20 kms from falls Creek, but that is another story...

I'm at Goulburn tonight after a day on the Hume Highway.

Plan for tomorrow is down to Campbelltown and across the Putty Putty to Singleton and then up to Tamworth or Armadale somewhere.
Friday over to Yamba for the Family Wedding.  :|||| yeah looking forward to that  :||||

Wear your OzSTOC Rally shirt.  It's a nice formal black.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Well Streak, Teela and Shiney have just left Bendigo.  A bit of rain overnight doesn't seem to have dampened spirits too much; just made packing up tents trickier....Highlight of the morning though was Steak and Shiney trying to tie everything on to Dave's bike and working out where it all went.  Teela may have some incriminating evidence  :crackup
Great to meet them all, and safe trip home cheers Chris.

A new borad board has been setup, here http://ozstoc.com/index.php?board=55.0 for all ride reports, Photos/video and gossip. Please start a new topic for each report. IE Rays death defying ride, or Diesels attempt at self destruction...  :grin

I got in around 1930hrs last night. Geat to have my watch back on the CORRECT time!      :p

Crossed into Qld - looked up - you guessed it! Stopped to put wets on next to Willowbank Raceway.     :cuss

My trip meter tells me that since my bike was last in my garage, she has done 6,856kms!      :eek

Hopefully I won't have time to clean her before the next adventure.       :thumb

Thanks to all for a marvellous experience and a rip snorta of a time yet again.

Will wade through pic and vids and see about putting something together.      :think1

Cheers, Diesel

Good to hear you are home safe.
If you are not doing anything this weekend there are the Blackdog rides taking place all around Australia.
There is one near you .
Go to http://www.blackdogride.com.au/view/rides/1dr-2013/ and see what is happening.
Now get out there and get all those bugs off the poor old ST!!! :thumbs

Well after an interesting day of much rain, wind, near miss, we needed up changing plans, and instead of going to Canberra, we ended up in Gundagi! 486km down, the Wind was something to behold, throw in 300km of Rain, we are now nice and warm!

The Gundagi Motel was fantastic, covered parking for the bikes, King size room, and Queen Size room including washing and drying for $148 in total, recommend it here anytime!

The question is..what is the vsteam screen like in this sort of whether (a Shiney question)?  It has been pouring rain in Canberra the last few hours, so good call on the stop unless you want another 2 hours of riding in the rain

Departed orbost this morning with Abe & parted ways in Canberra .
I stopped into fyshwick to purchase some "special straws" to send to Turtle then stopped at the Apple shop to get a new power cord.
Now sitting in cowra sipping a Bundy & planning tomorrow's ride ...

Love the long distance, not slightly overloaded with gear though lol, short trot to Sydney toomorrow, Teela is on the plane, and Shiney and I are dining with some of the fantastic Sydney based members :)

Left Goulburn this morning around 8:30. Down to the outskirts of Campbelltown up through Penrith over the Putty Putty to Singleton and now in the motel at Tamworth. Not a drop of rain in site blue skies all the way.

Tomorrow over the oxley range to Grafton and down to Yamba a short 366 k's tomorrow over some beautiful riding roads.

Weather on TV looks like I'll stay ahead of the low pressure system that Streak and Shiney went through. I went past gundagai yesterday in perfect weather, just shows you the diversity of this great country, Australia.
