Hi all

I've arrived at Peregian Beach (Between Noosa and Maroochydore) recieved a lovely welcome from the family.Great to see Mrs Sabie and of course the real Sabie.

3 days off the bike here. then onto Gladstone for 2 days and then onto  home.

over 8,000 k's covered so far with over 1,000 more to go.

Dont know if that was a wise move Keith, having the UK know that inhabitants of Oz will ride 1500 miles for dinner, have a nap and then go home again. They might think we are a tad nuts..

They are collectively called the 12 Apostles - you guessed it... because there are ...... 8 of them (due to collapsing) - located in the Great Australian Bight - spectacular!

Still technically on the way home from Middleton rally.

New tyres today at tyres for bikes in cooroy. Got an OzSTOC 10% discount. Apparently the rear brake pads are shot, and they didn't have that type of pad to replace them, so I know have to nurse the STead home trying not to use to much rear brake.

I was sad to see my Pirelli ST Angel go on the front. It was a great tyre and loved it, but the Michelin Pilot Road 2's were recommended for the roads around Townsville.

So we'll see how they go.

Many years of committed photography practice and research went into setting up that Picture postcard shot.....the lighting, the angles, the many hours just awaiting the stars to align.......then I just pushed the floppin button on Sabie's camera phone.....
