Honda ST1100 Changing the Time on the Clock

Hi Gents,
              This will seem like a very silly question, as i have put my Manual down somewhere and cant find it..

how do i change the time on the clock?

 Of Course if use the answer is simple with Google...     

1 Ignition on (this is the bit that i was not doing)
2 Press Reset, minute & seconds will show 00
3 Press H until desired hour is show
4 Press M until desired minute is displayed

You don't need to press reset if you just want to chnage the time a bit from what is showing.  Do we need to answer the 'clever' question

i was pottering along thinking how do i change this damn thing....and didnt think about answering it myself, i have all of your knowledge :)

None of the buttons work on mine. When I changed battery a while ago the clock went back to 1 am. Had to get up in the middle of the night and go connect the battery at 1 am to get correct time, not going to disconnect it again.

We like our bikes to be right.  Not anal or anything.  Just might as well have everything right as not right!

WARNING:  Setting the clock can break your mirror..
My advice. Make sure the kid you asked to set your clock does not think he is Kevin Schwantz.
Could of set it myself but thought a 13 yr old lad would enjoy it as they are impressed by the "sick" bike. Never thought he would jump on top, pretend to be riding and knock the bike over breaking my mirror!!!.
To be fair it was on a bit of a hill and it nearly squashed him.. poor wee fella.
Just need a new mirror and cover now if anyone has any ideas.

I'm guessing the bike was pointed down hill, I always (where possible) park pointed uphill, and in gear.

the bike has been at the mechanix for 11 months, the clock time fix took 30 seconds
