We've just heard what we thought were few a Harleys go past our house to the next street up from ours.

They've just come back again........turns out they were mostly Moto Guzzi of some type and one or two other makes. Whoever they went to see wasn't home by the look of it.

While visiting Heather's aunty and cousin on mother's day one of the other visitors looked over my 1100 and said "it's got a car motor in it" plus the other usual questions related to gearbox and drive type.

And Honda make good car motors, too. In fact I heard recently that Honda have overtaken Toyota in car sales in Oz. While I'm a repeat buyer of Camrys, I do like Honda build quality and reliability.

Times sure are a changin' when you read Mercedes Benz (200 C series) are out selling Holden in Australia now. And Benz gets no subsidies and handouts from the Federal Government.

Makes you ask yourself how things change, and what does it. Maybe the Germans can run a business better than an American now a days.

I just did the maths.........

From BrizVegas, it is only around 900kms further to Perth, than it is to Darwin!!!!

Doesn't seem that way when you think of the map of Oz - that's not even two tanks of juice worth! ($50)!!!!

Seems funny when put in this perspective to me.

I've had 3 Honda cars, Accord Euro, Civic and CRV. Loved them all, they ran beautifully and the after sales service from them I No. 1. Now have a new Mercedes A200 on notated lease. Costs about the same as a Honda or Mazda of similar size. Brilliant little diesel and their service exceeds that of Honda. I recommend either, great vehicles.

And it was foggy and a bit rainy today. The bike was parked where it was nice and dry. It now has Queensland roadwork clay all around the bottom, as they were still watering the roadworks on the weekend.

As I say, those who actually ride their bikes all the time can't spend valuable road time washing

Yes, but Saaz those Queensland roads will be great when their finished.... It's been a work in progress for over 170 years but they'll be great when their finished........

Our Club only seems to know of 3 or 4 Goldies - Bear's, HarieG's, this one, and another around FNQld... WHY?

Where are all the Goldies???

They must have sold well in excess of 50 of them!

Batteries can let go at anytime. Very frustrating unless you had already bought your preferred replacement battery.
