Shipping is the killer for most of those deals.  The PR2s I have in ST13 sizes owe me $300 landed in Australia from JakeWilson.  If I could get some of those tyre deals you seem to be able to get in Brisbane I might not bother getting in tyres.  The Shinko Verges have work out well on the ST11, getting between 15 and 17K front and back (compared to 10K with other tyres) and they cost $220 landed.  No compromise in grip wet or dry either.
