The snorkel on those Isuzu truck that the CFA use are up by the top of the cabin. Why did you think it was American?

I'm  was informed that the driver is no longer employed, as he put the crew at risk.
At my age " getting lucky" is remembering what I came in the room for ;)

Thought it was Yank and not an Australian because I couldn't believe an emergency services person would drive into something so deep without knowing what was in their???????

CFA Victoria 2011, crew was suspend pending an investigation. Truck had to be completely stripped and rebuilt. The crew were responding to an Alarm in a building and not a fire.

I'm not sure of the outcome of the investigation. It wouldn't just be the driver. A fire truck is kind of like a ship where the OIC is in charge. The driver is just that the driver. The Officer in the passenger seat is ultimately responsible for the truck, Crew and crews actions.
