On a more serious note, my daughter has suffered from depression most of her adult life, knows the signs of when it's getting on top of her, has medication to help fight it off (I call them her "happy pills"), and uses me to unload her worries from day to day, which is great. It means she has it under
her control, not the other way round.
My dad had Prostate Cancer, and died from it in '78, so I'ver been getting checked twice a year ever since, both blood test and DRE (that's the finger test) - so far so good
