Hi all,

Well what can I say. I am completely enamored with the ST1100. I think she is just the best bike I have ridden for a long time. When I started to research this bike I had no idea of the following it has and when I stumbled onto the web site here I was interested in the comments about the bike but until I rode it had no idea what a pleasant surprise awaited. I am a convert and can see myself riding this type of bike for some time yet. The engineering and thought that has gone into the bike certainly is evident in the performaance and handling. Can't wait to go for another ride. I am looking forward to the Sunday ride and you will know my bike as it is a white police version with the old grey haired guy aboard.

I test rode a 2nd hand ST1100 at the local dealers well before I bought mine, I was looking at a couple of other bikes, DL1000 and GSX1400 for towing the trailer but after a mate with a GOLDIE (the prettiest of all) suggested I look at the ST1100 again I remembered the test ride I'd done and remembered it fit me perfectly. I loved mine the moment I first rode it.

Dunno about anyone recognising you from your description.. it probably fits a few WHITE ST1100 owners.. bwahahahaha.. :crackup :rofl

How you gonna catch them?  Pinch their bike keys?    :crackup
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
