I use google chrome. Works a treat for me

I use Firefox, does everything I need and you can get loads of add-ons and plug-ins for it for free.

I use Chrome on the desk computer (using windows XP). It is faster and IE on XP is not as secure as Windows 7 version.

As an aside, I've just started using Chrome on my iPad as I'm not too keen on Safari. It looks pretty good and seems marginally quicker that Safari.

So more than 50% of Internet users still use IE, despite it being vulnerable to almost any sort of hack there is, it's bloated and slow, and is the least user-friendly browser there is. Amazing! Browsers are free, so why wouldn't you want to try out others to see what suits you better, not just go with what Bill Gate says is good...'cause it aint!

Most of the users are just that, there tech savvy extends to being able to turn the PC on. You see the same thing in car users, they are extended to the limit by having to put petrol in.

IE 8 as the default browser on my WIN 7 32 bit PC when I first bought it. IE 9 was offered as an update a few days later but after a day of trying to find everything I rolled back to IE 8.

About three months ago I learnt that Google will be stopping their iGoogle about November 2013. with that in mind and trying to find another add free homepage I've tried Chrome, IE 9 (again) and Firefox (my sis uses this but with the way she has it set up I never seem to get anywhere).

Chrome is a little faster than IE 9 but there's not much in it. For me IE 9 is functionally better than Chrome.

Firefox is still being evaluated on our WIN 7 64 bit version where it seems better than on my 32 bit version (wouldn't go to my iGoogle home page). I check out U-tube music a lot but Firefox needed to have me install the flash player again (why it didn't use the latest version I had installed is puzzling), settings probably.

Firefox did import settings, passwords etc from IE 9 where Chrome only imported favourites. Firefox again is a little faster than IE 9 but is it any better? Too soon to tell .

I have yet to look at Safari.

Dedicated chrome user here, functional, and it works, 2 most important things, even use chrome on my iPad

Chrome here for me, both on iMac as well as Windows (that's loaded on the Mac using Parallels Desktop). On the odd occasion I've tried using IE, I've found it's hard to navigate around and seems to take forever to load.
