I agree, he did a grand job for a lot of years and his form of late is not a true reflection on his playing ability...so saying I think he made the right decision. Pity that his last test is going to be such a dismal thrashing...current score Australia are 3 for 125, needing 507 to win, I don't think so!  :cuss :cuss :spank :spank :spank :cuss :cuss

I think it was about time to let another player in the lineup. His most recent form has been dismal and I really think he should have retired from all forms of cricket when he was at his best.

That said, in the dream team we had for a while there, he was a valuable contributor. See you Ricky.

yep agreed with you both, he made the right call, he was a magnificent player, and destroyed many a bowling line up, sat up watching many a test match when i should have been in bed as i didn't want to miss a ball....
