Well I'm pleased to announce the release of Part 1 of the OzSTOC RTE we undertook to help out the kind folk of Grantham after the devastating floods of 2011, which claimed their township and a total of around 70 souls.
Even after all this time, they are still getting back on their feet, so, we thought we'd try and inject a little financial help and good will in their direction by fuelling up all our STs (and others), and grabbing some groceries/morning tea at the local shop.
Following is my first attempt at an 'Epic' production. There is plenty of room for improvement - but I hope you enjoy the spectacle and join in with us in wishing all the best for our brethren in Grantham.
Thanks must go to our fine OzSTOC Member Paul (Whizz) for organising this run, and for coaching me through the learning stages of the vid editing software - cheers mate. Thanks also to Skip for organising the first run of this type in March 2012.
And finally, thanks goes to the Members and friends who participated this day.
The looks on the faces of the locals was plenty of reward. They thought the cavalry had come and were a little emotional - and extremely respectful of our little contribution.
Pls watch it in at least 480p resolution, and let it load a little. You can click the 'YouTube' logo under the image to watch it in a larger format too.
Enjoy.....
