What are you up to for Australia Day?
« on: January 26, 2013, 11:46:58 AM »
What is everyone up to for Australia Day?

I have a trade display for my business out at the Jondarayn Woolshed between Dalby and Toowoomba, I am giving away vouchers and telling the world how wonderful my business is

Although I have to say it is pretty wet and windy, I made the commitment to come, so I have good coffee listening to the rain fall.....

Doing nothing in particular, but then I don't have to cram activities into holidays and weekends like I used to  :thumb  There is a band on in the bar-bistro down the path from me, so may have a listen and partake in other Aussie traditions  :wink1

Ozzie BBQ breakfast with friends, sheltering from the rain.
Sorry for those who made big outdoor plans.  It's miserably wet in Brissie.
Not too far away in Birdsville its 44o.  Crazy, eh?

Went down to Wayne Leonards Motorcycles this morning to drink coffee and talk crap at the 'Liars Club', did some shopping and came home to put the air on and have a few beers, now watching the 20/20 cricket.

Did have 'lamb grenades' for dinner.  :thumbs

A quiet one for me, mostly at home with the kids, although I did have to go in to work to pick up a car for tomorrow morning's shift.  Got caught up on housework and garden, since this is my only day off this week....

BTW - Qlders, please send back our bloody monsoon!!!!!! :H :H :H :H

My Oz day,wet ride 4 am from clunes NSW to work at Tweed 80k. Bus wise gold coast very quiet all day. Beach and creek picnic areas too wet. dickheads cutting off bus in wet. Bus with lights on and they pull out in front. How stupid can you get. Swams of idiots on scooters in shorts, singlets trying to cut through traffic. Did not see one harley.
Wet ride home. now 3 days off. Time to play with HID into fog lights, more later.
