How would you like this for a Sunday ride ??????
« on: February 08, 2013, 08:50:50 PM »

The road is built on several small islands and reefs, and is crossed by eight bridges, several roads and overpasses. This road offers a view of the open sea, which is rare on the roads along the Norwegian coast.

It's very spectacular, but I'm not sure I'd want to ride across it.

I have an adopted daughter from Norway, which is our Daughters best friend who she calls us her Aussie Mum and Dad. She is a beautiful person. The Norwegians have 29 letters in their alphabet so you'd be a bit nutty too with those extra letters to try and find a use for  :p lol

It's funny isn't it. The Norwegians build a road across the ocean and yet we can't build a road to flood proof the national highway up north.
And that footage must have been taken from an ST1800. Note the windscreen wipers.  :rofl :rofl

What a fantastic road.

I would suggest that was probably atypical ocean conditions. On a less blowy day, that would be a remarkable ride.

Wrong side of the road? Damn, I will have to put my handlebars on the other side of the bike.

I prefer my salt on the fish and chips, not the bike.
The Atlantic is often blustery, I believe.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

They would feel at home on the Kwinana Freeway, sorry parking area, when the storms come through Perth.
