Well at least the weather gods smiled on us westies on Saturday. Turned out to ge a great day for a quick ride up to Moora.
There were a few of us there for lunch,

We happened to all meet in the carpark opposite the "Drovers Inn" and most of us made use of the facilites and had a bit of a feed.
After lunch a few more turned up and we made our way to the Caravan Park the usual chinwag and bull session. The late arrivals were getting hungry by 6PM, so we then made our way to the "Moora Hotel" for dinner. Others have photo's of these sessions. Mixed reviews on the food, but we all agreed about the quality of service from the guy that was the barman/kitchenhand/waiter for the night..
We wandered back to the caravan park and Malcolm found another use for an empty beer keg:

The pic also shows some the illustrious W.A. crew that turned up, and yes, it was getting a little chilly by now!
After a nice warm night's sleep in my chalet, I got an early start and rode thru low cloud / fog ( could only do a max of 90k ) all the way to here for breakfast:

It was perfect timing, I got there right on 07:00, just as they opened the doors. After a good breakfast and nice hot coffee I gave my helmet visor a good clean ( amazing the amount of crap in those low clouds! ) and I carried on home and back just after 08:30.
Now for the Yuna FarRide next Saturday.
Ray,
