Can you see me now ??
« on: April 05, 2013, 06:01:44 PM »
Being on a Black :blk13 and in Black riding gear and Helmet has concerned me at times.....use to being high Vis at work and so now wear a Hi-Vis vest on the bike.....as let's face it, it cannot make me less visible despite the negativity from other riders at times.

Got the front & rear of the bike covered with lighting and reflective pannier stickers (thanks Pete), the bike side on didn't present viewable particularly in low or no light.

So the following two pics show the bike of a daytime with the stickers in place and the second taken with the flash to replicate another vehicles headlights lighting the side of the ST at night, used the black reflective tape cut to shape, supplied by Peter.

Can you see me now ??  :eek

Cheers

I like the wheels

If if came in blue I'd add it, but I think it would detract from the blue and make it look patchy.

Looks great on yours but.

Until I started riding a police white ST11 I did not think much of the visibility angle.  I have had cars pull across on me even on the ST, but far less than on the old bike.  Even though I have had a white helmet for years and reflective stuff on the jacket.  Every advantage you can get, take it  :thumbs

Although I believe that with the 70W HIDs in the ST I am reasonably visible
