Well it was a good nights sleep until the alarm went off on a Sunday morning for Malcolm's "breakfast" ride to Mundaring Weir Hotel. As I had not been there before, I decided to fire up the GPS to take me the more scenic way. Found the first of my obligatory glitches when I go on a ride. The GPS was not locking onto any satellites and could not find my destination! I was also riding where no roads exist in suburban Perth!!! After about 10 mins of riding and restarting the GPS, it decided to play. I went thru Kalamunda and onto Mundaring Weir Road which would have been a good ride, except for the very low speed limits and all the wet stuff on the road! By this time Brock and I had sort of communicated via our CB's confirming they both work ( mine, sort of ). About 2 minutes short of the breakfast meet I got another call from Brock ( who took the quicker route ) asking me where I was!
We had quite a reasonable turnout, considering the weather we have had here in Perth and all the "bugs" everyone has been getting!
There were actually another couple of bikes that got hidden in the photo.
After quite a bit of a chinwag, we decided we were getting hungry and went inside for our brekky.
The most common order was the "Cooked Breakfast"
Brock had to be different:
I "Crapped Out" getting the crepes I ordered and had to settle for pancakes!
We also made a new Friend, the local cat who proceeded to chew on anything that stood still long enough!
And a couple of timelapse video's of my ride etc. One in Low def
