I haven't had a Mum since I was 18,but to all the Mums out there, happy Mothers Day....you deserve it..
So sorry to hear that Sabie. I had the most unfortunate experience in 1981 when my father died on
father's day at breakfast. He finished his most favourite meal, which was a full on cooked breaky, and just
closed his eyes and slid off his chair.

All the best Sabie. I am sure you treasure your memories of her......

Thanks Wayne
Mum had a Cerebral Haemorrhage while making the bed one morning, she was 49 and I was 18. My older brother recently found a voice recording of her..... Back then he was a young Police Constable in Longreach and Mum used to record messages to him on cassette.. It was strange to hear her voice after so many years.
In a very sad way it's almost a comfort.
Take care Sabie and happy travels. Maybe we can share a beer or two one day.
Wayne
