Post count
« on: May 28, 2013, 10:29:06 AM »
:-[ How come my last 4-5 posts all say No. 90?

Been trying to get to that milestone of 100 posts, but the last 5 keep saying 90.

Why is it so? :well

it actually says 93 now, people do remove threads that they have created as they no long er need it there, anyone who has posted in it will lose their posts, possibly that may have happened to you, or computers might just not be liking you right now!

Think I have worked it out,  or maybe not????? On the post titled 'new boots' I posted 3 times. At the time the post count was 90 on each post. Then started my 'Rant' and went up to 93. Now I look back at 'new boots' and my count says 93. So what can I conclude from this??? Replying to the same post more than once without logging off seems to only recognise you once, (maybe). Replying to your own post numerous times seems to add the count on. So; talking to yourself gives you post credits, dropping on and off the site, gives you post credits, Ranting on about it gives you post credits. Responding to others posts as a sensible 2 way conversation, gives you no post credits.

So, in essence, if you are a raving, unstable, on again, off again, talking to yourself poster, you get higher post counts.

Do I have that right?

This better be 94, or blood will be shed!!! :o

If you look at the list of top posters, I think your question is answered!   :beer  And 94 posts it is.

That should have been directed at saaz, bikos I think he's having a shot at you.  I'm too far behind to be his target, and besides, I'm not "a raving, unstable, on again, off again, talking to yourself poster".
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
