Well time to say farewell to a faithful friend.
« on: June 14, 2013, 10:52:35 PM »
We all have those bizarre possessions in our life that don't mean anything to anyone but you......well after much sole searching we have decided to part with a trusty friend who has taken us to some marvellous locations all up and down the east coast of Oz. No ppl it's not the ST, but our faithful friend Lilly....

Meet Lilly.....

She started life as a Show Car for ARB (4x4 Products), then fell into our hands where the mods continued to set her up as a very capable long distance and remote area tourer.....even had her Supercharged to satisfy the boy racer in me....

She has seen multiple 4x4 adventures into some of the more common 4x4 destinations like Fraser Island, Canarvon gorge, Brindabellas, Barrington tops and dozens of other hard to reach camping destinations that don't exist on many maps.

As Lilly isn't our Daily Driver and was used for touring duties only we are going to turn 2 cars into 1 to cover both jobs so now the search begins.......

Wouldn't be many as well set-up as that one!  Good thing you've had such a great time with it.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I hear you mate its hard to say goodbye to one of your toys.

Is Lilly advertised anywhere???

Hope you get top dollar for her, Lilly not the lady that lives in the cupboard.
At my age " getting lucky" is remembering what I came in the room for ;)

Yep she is sold mate......couldn't make our mind up so put top dollar on her and advertised her in the right place on a dedicated 4x4 network to put the vehicle under the right noses....advertised last Friday at lunchtime, phone call 4 hrs later......SOLD Sunday, to buyer down your way.

Cheers
