RIP Mick Aston
« on: June 28, 2013, 07:17:57 PM »
Evenin' All...

Look l accept that this is considerably off topic...so if it is removed that's OK.

But I have, for a as long as I can remember had an interest in Roman history in the UK, anyway I have had an ongoing interest in Time Team and while on the IOM in 2007 I got a bit of an 'inside' access to a dig they dig on the Island (Golf Course).

With that in mind I was sad to hear the Mick Aston (usually wore multi coloured stripy jumpers), who featured quite a bit on the show up until he pulled the pin on the show, died unexpectedly a few days ago..  :'(

Ciao, the can :-)

I too am a fan of Time Team and read with sadness about the Professor passing. Great program, great man.
