also helps greatly with heaving.

Nope.  I'm not biting.   :p
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Heaving, the upward movement of the slab due to soil movement ,expansion.big problem on heavy clay soils like we have here in Emerald.

Yes it's true it keeps critter's out from under your slab, but the main purpose is to provide extra strength to the structure, also helps greatly with heaving.
This would also help greatly with the price, eh! Like as in make it twice as dear :cuss........another old saying of mine "it is much easier to seek forgiveness than to get permission'".....if anyone asks, just say its a big garden shed  :grin

It's a pretty Green...... You know you're washing in it......

Nice man cave mate.

When I built mine I installed 2 lots of shelving 2400 long and a matching workbench. The last shed I built at a previous house, the shelving and workbench was built by my then neighbour a retired railway carpenter, only problem was I couldn't take it with me when we sold the house. So this time I bought racks that could pack up and come with us.

I bought mine from Rack and Stack, they're as solid as and I'm very happy with them.

How can a man be so lucky as to have so much shed space!?
You're the envy of all of us, dude!

Looks really slick. And the colour looks like British Racing Green. So it's a Sports Touring shed. Bit of landscaping and it will look like its always been there.

:think1 Put a gardening cupboard in and u can say it's dual purpose.   :thumbsup

Well I think I'm done for now.

Grabed some old school lockers for storage, but unfortunately they weren't deep enough for the helmets.

So off to Masters and grabbed a flat pack locker... everything fits perfectly.

The only thing left to do is a wall to separate the tools from the Bike area with a wall and a work bench (so I can pretend to look handy)
