Near Dalby I see.  I seem to go up that way a lot lately as not many options on some rides when you want to hit some interesting roads.  So expects some visits now that you are out in the real world  :thumbs

Mate. What are you going to do with 250 acres. That's a lot of mowing my friend.
Getting wind in my hair while I still have some.

the only trouble with 5 acres is....If I let out scream or yell at the top of my lungs anybody that short a distance away would soil themselves immediately with fright.(what the f was that) so to speak, and I would still be able to hear the damn dogs barking anyway (not good).

Good Onya mate.   All the essential for a bloke.   Lots of space for the dog to run around, somewhere to sleep, a BIG shed and a dunny.   :thumbsup

It will definitely be mission to find you if you loose yourself on 250 acres!! LOL.

Long way to come for a BBQ. 258ks.

We will all have to go and purchase Honda Adventure bikes now.

Blessings.
Tony.

Might need to start using coordinates in the GPS, not relying on the maps - cross-country style.

If you are riding your boundary, take an EPIRB for safety sake, or a SPOT thingy.

I say and mean this in a light-hearted, half serious way, but the serious half is worth thinking about?

I could end up becoming a "doomsday prepper" very easily, living in a place like that. I yearn for relative isolation. You lucky sod!

I believe the Qld Government have urged Tipsy to take this self imposed exile, and they thought TARA was far enough. NZ basically said "There's no way we're having him back!", and taking him over the border was illegal - kind of like transporting DANGEROUS GOODS!      :eek

But the Victoria Point Hotel is now doing fund raising to make up for the loss of income, and sales of earplugs throughout South East Queensland have slowed t right down.     :wink1

As you read this, metres and metres of copper tube is making it way west, Bundaberg Sugar have diverted two road trains per month though the little hamlet, and the local Tara Pharmacy has extended the shop by purchasing the vacant block next door for prescriptions!!!!     :eek

Make sure you have internet out there mate, as we haven't appointed anyone to fill in for your wonderfully comical quips - let alone flag bearer!

Good onya legend!       :rockon

Cheers, Diesel

Ditto to all the above!  You sure do things thoroughly when you do them!
"Go bush!" his Missus said, so he went 258 kays to find a bit of dirt!
Sounds like you're certain to get some visitors.  Lots of people here are on for a FarRide.    :grin
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
