My First OzSTOC Encounter
« on: July 12, 2013, 08:09:26 PM »

Organised to meet Neale for a ride with myself and a few friends from the ulysses club.
Met at Bringelly at 9.40 so I could pickup my STeed from the mechanic, then we went to windsor maccas with a goldwing in tow to meet the other companions.
After the introductions and obligatory toilet stops cause damn it was cold, we departed around 11 for the 45minute blast along the Putty road for Grey Gum Cafe.
Had an enjoyable Lunch told heaps of stories and socialised with other riders that turned up.
Although there was only my ST1100 and Neales ST1300 which qualify the Goldwing, Victory Vision, Blackbird and K1200Lt were able to keep up.
Thanks Neale hope to catchup again soon.

He is a pretty cheap date 8)

Didn't eat much and left most of his chips which were snapped up by the ulysses seagulls

Will probably take a few more outings before he can keep up with the Bringellian.

It was a great day for a ride, as are all days. Pockey, are you and Chris coming to the RTE at the Grey Gum on the 7 Sep?

No Neale....we had to do some roster wrangling for the following weekend for the 14th for the Inverell overnighter.
