Nice John  First time I have seen an ST in a trailer

Just bad luck I think. Have not heard of a ST13 blowing a rear shock before to cause that sort of damage, but the consequences are not good.

It would be interesting to know what the long term pre load settings on that shocky were and how much weight it had on that shocky over its life. I know some people dont change the pre load even when fully loaded and when they bounce over bumps the shocky gets a fair pounding from the bouncing

It is actually a lot colder here Paul!  -6c last night.  If I even briefly thought that Biloela was cool, I take it all back

I am at a loss to know how any  country that is generally this warm, can have its capital city created in an area that can actually legally be published as being at -6 Deg!!! That has to be beyond anything that is legally acceptable in this wonderful country!!!

I did once, many years ago, spend 6 weeks living in a tent whilst taking part in an RAF exercise in Sweden during January/February when it got down to -22 Deg for the last four weeks, and trust me that was so cold that nothing worked...including the aircraft we had there. We had to run hot air into the engines and gearboxes for an hour each morning before we could start the aircraft!! None of us washed for 6 weeks...and trust me everyone else knew it I can tell you!!

I was in Washington DC over the thanksgiving holiday weekend (for work unfortunately) and it was so cold that it made me appreciate how warm Canberra is!  The old fashioned way of thinking was to get a 'bracing' climate, and they sure succeeded this time of year. I think I might migrate North or West for Ozstoc events in winter, and come back for some summer relief with cooler nights during summer.
