Very capable with lots of applications including "loop-record" for crash evidence.  Having the touch screen is a huge plus (any screen is better than most in that price range).  And they're in Oz!

I used to do alpha and beta testing for laser/Navig8r GPS devices, and they are receptive to feedback and do support their products.  If I could get their mapping and support on the Garmin Zumo I would go with them.

Some of the people I sail with use this style action cam and one of the problems they have is that the inside of the sealed case fogs up because of the moisture trapped when the case is closed.  They use the **pro  brand.
I'm looking at the style that is waterproof without needing to put it in a sealed case.
