rain and brains
« on: December 30, 2011, 02:58:23 PM »
heading south from tweed heads to lismore this afternoon. big storm, the type where you feel every drop on your arms, fair amount of traffic but moving from 80 to 100 which was good for the conditions
heavy traffic heading north all headed to a stop well before  sextons hill, the big hill before tweed
dozen or so normal bikes all riders had the right gear on, some even waved, twice as many harleys, none had any gear a few jackets, most t shirts, all in jeans,  a few had no sunnies or visor, thats got to be dangerous. so i wonder how superior the felt with cold wet balls,
it always rains in summer up here, dont they even read a weather report

Weather reports?? lol bwahahaha what, you actually listen to them? ... Im yet to see/hear one that is correct. IMO sh*t happens. If youre out and it rains so be it. If its raining and you go out then you dress accordingly. its hard to wear ATGATT to suit every occassion.

On Farrides I wear my Dririder pants. I get protection from the elements and extra body armour.

We don't much rain in the west, so when it does happen it's nice. Just need to educate the car drivers, that's all. That is a losing battle.

What he said, but we also wear our wet get when it's colder to help keep out the chill factor.
