My first long trip on the ST had me rummaging around for my old kidney belt that I used to where in enduros, but when I found it, I realised that I mustn't have stored it properly, as it had shrunk enormously
. Mind you, years ago before it shrunk, it was brilliant when I spent too long on my dirt bike, as it seemed to allow my body to take the pounding without copping the pain associated with sore kidneys and helped with lessening lower back pain the day after. Had to be careful not to wear it too tight though. I also used to use it on longer trips on road as I found it helped with fatigue, and it helped whenever I hit one of those hidden, un-expected large camouflaged bumps or potholes.
Tony's on the money having one built in to his back protector, which is the next safety item on my buy list.
