Can anyone vouch for the road being ok to ride on? Will road works be a problem?

Hi Peter,

Can't say if road works will be an issue as the last time I rode this road was September last year on my way to the MotoGP.
I can say it's a sensational piece of road with awesome scenery, though it is a bit bumpy in places. Well worth riding though.

Road works on the Gloucester side of the mountain are ongoing but generally no issue unless we have had some serious rainfall, Walcha end is a rough but surprisingly fast piece of roadway......Uralla through Bundarra to Inverell is a nice piece of roadway but beware of a nasty timber bridge ( bolt heads) about 25 k's North of the Armidale turn off

After being floored by the flu twice in the last 3 weeks i am a 50 percent chance of making this one.
The decision to go or not will be made saturday morning.
There will be a deluxe cabin available if i decide not to go.Paid for last october ST2UP can manage it accordingly by putting any funds back into the club from anyone that might need a bed.
If i do make it,i'm pretty sure you won't want my germs by sharing the cabin
