I have just sat back and watched this with my mouth open and my breath stopped!!!. It is an absolutely fascinating and brilliant short video about something that is mind-boggling and truly amazing!!!! Well done for finding this and allowing me to be so impressed with the intelligence of the original designers.

Cheers

Truly remarkable.   I marvel at the ingenuity of the inventor and builder, who, starting from scratch, can design and build a machine that can mimic such a complex action.

Human intelligence at its finest.  A programmable mechanical writing automaton! 6000 parts.  Astonishing!
The Swiss do these miniature mechanical things best.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

That's just downright spooky. Imagine what he could have done with modern engineering.

Even Asimo, the Honda robot isn't as clever as that clockwork doll, yet it has all the advantages of computer technology.
