Hello to All,
Just a Hello message to introduce myself. I am living in the UK at the moment after returning here from Australia last July.
When I left Oz I was heartbroken in having to sell my beloved 2007 ST1300, but after being here in the UK for four weeks I replaced her with another 2007 ST1300 - just a different colour. At the moment I would not consider any other bike unless I was going to increase the size of my stable with a few choices but if there can only be one bike it has to be the ST1300. I had a ST1100 whilst living in the UK from 2004 to 2006 and then when I moved to Oz I actually purchased a Kawasaki cruiser - oh well we all make mistakes! Then I purchased the ST1300 and I found the best bike that I have ever owned. I have owned a lot of bikes over the years of all different types, naked, sports, cruisers and touring bikes but the ST1300 surpasses them all and is by far the best bike ever.
Even though the ST1100 was a good bike you cannot compare it to the ST1300 in my opinion. You can do anything on this bike, commute, go on tour with the wife or just be a hooligan if you want, the ST1300 does it all with ease.
I have been a member of ST-Owners.com for a couple of years and I have enjoyed that site (so much useful info) so I am looking forward to looking through this site now and making some new contacts. I will be back in Oz at some stage.
