Second TV urgently needed
« on: October 27, 2013, 11:05:26 AM »
So, I spent yesterday afternoon switching between the MotoGP qualifying and the Gold Coast 600, not knowing which one to watch.  Now I have the same dilemma, except it's race day for MotoGP.  Solution is, I need a second TV, preferably delivered within the next hour or so...... (by the way, no spare cash to go buy one, so don't suggest it) :KissBlow

You'd probably find a good old crt tv dumped at any charity bin, most people are too lazy to take them to the dump and charities don't seem to be interested in old crt TV's since everbody wants a lcd or plasma. Other thing is to find a pub with a sports bar and multiple TV's setup, you can watch everything at once.   :grin

Stuff the ironing, then.  It will be there tomorrow.     >:()

PIP (picture in picture) while recording both at the same time. One is maximised where you hear the sound, and the other is in a smaller "window". If something interesting happens in the smaller screen, switch to it and you then can rewind. Same with going back to the other channel. Don't ask me how, as it depends on what recorders etc that you have, but I've done that on more than one occasion.....

Having a 55 inch 3D tv that was replaced inside 7 months from new , i'm not game to try anything other than turning it on.
The record to usb/hard drive results are hilarious at best - farcical at worst. Luckily it was dirt cheap   :fp

I have a Tbox so can record two programs and watch something else.  Easy to switch from live to the recorded and fast forward.  Also have a Panasovic hard drive recorder for those time too much s on (or if I want to burn a program to DVD).  I still have the Moto2 and 3 to watch

Moto 2 & 3 are always fantastic racing. Hopefully Arthur Sissis get's a decent ride next year seeing as the larrakin from townsville jack miller has taken his seat in the ktm team. As for Ant west - he deserves better for his dedication, talent & persistence on shite machinery !
