NSW RTE

I propose a ride to the Wollombi Tavern as NSW's RTE Sunday 22 Jan. Those who live in and around Sydney and the Hunter Valley will know where it is. Meet there at say....12 noon? Or Sydney riders meet at the Berowra truck stop at 9 A.M. for a ride up the Old Pacific Hwy, via Peats Ridge to Wollombi.

Pete it sounds good, but I am in Sydney for a 40th on the Saturday night      so I predict I will be way too far under the weather  to be walking, let alone riding on the Sunday... I will go the next one me thinks.

Just a thought  - I am on a rotating roster ( 6 on 4 off ) so only get one of the regular weekends off a month. I am usually off during the week so when we plan our RTE's we should think about planning some weekday ones ( with overnight stop so people can come from afar ) as I am sure there will be others in the same boat.

Hi Pete,
I missed your post on this ride. Sorry, I would probably have come along if I had seen it. I will watch out for your next one. I am also up for a mid-week ride sometime.

Dick, it's a bit difficult for me to do mid week rides now, as I'm driving buses M-F, but there are times I just don't feel well enough to go to work, if you get my drift
