2004 ST1300 for Sale
« on: November 26, 2013, 06:40:24 PM »
It is with reluctance that I put my ST1300A up for sale. It's a 2004 (blue) model but I bought it brand new as old stock in September 2007 and it only has 33,600k on the clock, (all of which have been put on doing day trips - no commuting). Unfortunately ill-health brings me to the point where I'm just not able to handle the weight anymore, so having accepted my plight, there's not much point storing it in the carport any longer. This bike is in excellent condition with a near new Pirelli Angel rear tyre (3,500k) and a new front to be fitted prior to sale. The list of extras is as follows:

Corbin seat and fitted lambswool cover, (original seats included)
Factory Top Box
Pannier Liners
Headlight protector
Spotlights hardwired to high beam
Two 12 Volt power outlets
240 volt Invertor to charge phone
Front guard extension
Full workshop manual

Once the new front tyre is fitted it will need nothing to cruise on for at least another 10,000k without expense.
I've looked after this machine with oil changes every 5000k, so I hope it goes to a good home.
I'm looking for $8900, which I believe to be fair.
Please make contact if you or anyone you know may be interested.

Sad to see you having to sell the bike in these circumstances. Hopefully a member, or future member, recognises a good buy.

That's an exceptional bike for the money.  My first ST1300 was a 2004 and I paid twice that for twice the kilometers!!  I trust you can sell soon.  It's really only 6 years old.  You shouldn't need to drop the price.

Mate- distance is not an issue for ST riders!
You buy it, I'll ride it over for you and you fly me home.   :grin

OR,
I'll test ride and approve it, you fly over here and have the ride of your life going home.   :thumbs

I Know Wayne and his fantastic Blue 13 - there have been many hours of TLC put in to that bike! Sad to hear the circumstances mate - specially since you live around some of the best riding roads in Oz! Hope all goes well Wayne.     :wink1

Cheers, Diesel

Hi there,

I am new to the forum and looking for a bike just like yours.  Is it still for sale or has it gone to a lucky new home.

Cheers, Bill.

As the bike is now sold can someone advise me how to remove this ad from the site.

Thanks,
Wayne
