Everybody give me good news.
I have just noticed the alternator is not charging at idle but a little above idle full charge.
Is this normal?

It might pay to check that your idle speed is not too low, and is set around 1,000rpm

How do you know it is not charging, Is the dash light coming on or have you connected a meter to it or is your battery flat after showing off those new bewt lights to the wild life after dark???

If you want to compare similar units, I can bring my bike around. M/vehicle electrics scare the watts out of me though.
