S.E. QLD RTE Saturday 8th November Esk Bakery 2014

We always get a great roll up to Esk Bakery, so free up your Saturday morning and come along, have a coffee, pie, bacon and eggs, whatever takes your fancy

There is a Northern NSW FarRide #32 on the same day so the planets may align, depending on what part of Northern NSW the FarRide is at.

Its to Walcha.......you may need the warp speed of the ST1100 on this one saaz.....

Esk bakery is good and has been a great supporter of our club.
But just a tip for those passing through Esk at other times, another great place to eat in Esk is the Nash Gallery and Cafe just up the road a bit from the bakery. Great coffee, a wonderful setting in an old converted queenslander and a good range of delicious tucker.

Funny you should mention that Barry. I was there last weekend and met up with a mate and his wife. Them women folk weren't keen on meeting at a bakery.

I just don't understand. But have to agree, the 'Nash' was very pleasant indeed.

The FarRide is at Walcha on the same day so no chance of making Esk, or at least making it on the same day as everyone else.

Next year's FarRide dates have been published which should make it easier to plan to avoid clashes like this.

At this point It looks like everyone is just meeting up at Esk.
But keep an eye on this thread, someone may want to do a bit of a ride there

I've put it in the diary. I'm just at Narangba Jack and happy to meet up at the northbound BP at Burpengary if you are happy to just do the 'big road' out to Esk. If I can, I'll make a day of it and go up the hill to Cabarlah for lunch with Gadget. If we are too early there, the tavern at Murphy's Creek does a great SB. Now, was that a Seafood Basket or Steak Burger??? Bugger it. I'll have both.

Nah. Not any more. I'm on a diet.
