I will be going quiet for some time
« on: January 15, 2014, 09:14:24 AM »
Hi all

I won’t be participating in various forums I am on or going to events in the immediate future as my wife, Gina, passed away suddenly on Sunday afternoon while I was coming back from a ride.  I have all sorts of things to deal with and organise at some stage when I am up to it.  The thought of riding even has no interest to me at the moment.  Even doing this has taken some time for me to cope with.

I will probably catch up on the forums at some stages to keep my sanity and escape from things.

Take care

John

Too sad to imagine how you must be now.
Trust you have plenty of supportive folk around you.
Kind regards,

So unexpectedly but sincerely sorry to hear that John. When I met Gina a couple of months ago we had a nice chat about books and my impression was of a cheerful, healthy person even though you mentioned Gina's diabetes.

I am shocked she is no longer with us. Don't despair. If you could use another shoulder to lament upon just PM me and I'll be there forthwith.
