Quite entertaining viewing on the UK's narrow country lanes. Looked like a fun day out.

We mortals don't usually ride like this - but then again, we are not trained to carry such velocities under those conditions either.

I have no doubts if a copper saw any of us all over the road like that we would be pulled for sure.

Any notice the lane markings or lack there of compared to ours........putting the onus on the rider/driver to overtake when safe to do so.....

Using the whole road..........makes sense if safe to do so.

Agree with most of that, although a few 'failure to indicate' by both bikes. They like playing on the centre line, maybe the paint isn't slippery in pomland.

All pretty common sense stuff for the conditions but I agree with Yorkie that we would get busted if we were spotted by a copper wandering all over the road like that.

Riding on the Wrong side even though no traffic, would certainly get you a ticket.  The explanation of I saw it in a Pommy Police how to ride vid wont wash.....

I know watching a video speed is often deceptive however they do appear to be exceeding what most would call riding to the road conditions.  As STeveo said our lines are like glass and I avoid going anywhere near them at the mere hint of precipitation. I also see an obvious difference with the road markings. Here in Australia there would be an unbroken line at the mere hint of reduced viability or a corner, in the UK that is not the case. Even riding across medium strips appears to be legal.

Otherwise I feel reasonably confident that I ride to the same standard (avoidance of d*ckheads not withstanding) however I do it in style on an ST not a BM.

It may well be that they were training/practicing pursuit riding techniques, rather than normal road riding techniques.  I can't imagine that crossing the centreline is something that would be taught by anyone as an appropriate line for normal riding.

On the section where there is no centre lines I think it would be hard for a Cop to ping you for being on the RHS if you were approaching a corner and there was no on-coming traffic.
I thought the lead rider was pretty late with his indicating before over-taking; 5 seconds is the stipulated duration.
There's no doubt they were riding to the limits in the wet- even a little closer to each other than I might dare.  However, it's about high skill levels, so some of it might look daunting to us.

That was interesting , but they showed some actions that I would never use.
Two instances were that , sometimes too close to the center line when negotiating a bend either left or right hand and with limited viability , if an oncoming vehicle were to wander even a little bit  over the center line, I felt that the MC did not have any safety margin in order to stay out of the way of the on coming traffic.
Also I do not think that I saw the INSTRUCTOR use his traffic signal indicators ,  when he was either overtaking or changing his lane at all.
I personally like to stay on my side of the road and preferably towards the left side of my lane , especially if there is any oncoming traffic and I try to make sure that I drive according to the conditions and give everybody else plenty of room.
Also when following another vehicle prior to any overtaking action I make jolly sure that I am not obscured or in the blind spot of the vehicle that I wish to overtake.
