- 4 litres
- 2 cams Bevel drives
-16 valves  Desmodromic
5 speed gear box

...and all this a 101 years ago...I think I may have had the privilege to have a comprehensive once-over of perhaps the most valuable car in Australia :thumbsup

The only one I know of from 1914 with 16 valve twin cam head was the Peugot.

These Guys to me were the Phil Vincent & Phil Irving of their day. Their ideas and level of engineering were (I believe), were decades ahead of their time. :clap

The chap on the left in Arthur Michelat and the chap on yhe right is Louis Delage

The level of complexity, skill an engineering of this Grand Prix Delage is truly awe inspiring. And when it is eventually up and running again and if its at a meet near you, I'd urge you to take some time out to have a look at it...if you have a love of anything mechanical, you wont be disappointed.  :grin
