I suggest Roundabout - Seeing as Pete got us there in a roundabout kind of way :grin

Or Maybe Loopy Pete as we had to loop back.

They did it to me Pete...........I was "Tassie Baz" until I laid my bike down very gently at idle speed on wet, muddy grass.......I then became "Couch"  bugger!!

I've checked the word 'peripatetic' on the interwebbie dictionary and it gives a description and an example

"Peripatetic:
Travelling from place to place, in particular working or based in various places for relatively short periods.
example - the peripatetic nature of a bike ride following Stinky Pete."
