Nothing crazy about that, it happens at every traffic light. The cars wait until the bikes clear then move off, the system works.

Wait till you have cars trucks and bikes coming at you on the left shoulder, as well as overtaking you on the left and right..

Pic is taken on the road under the fly over freeway. Note pylons in middle of road, or it could be the sky train..

It seems like topsy tervy world to me where the bike become the cars and and the cars become the bike. If I were in a car I'd be the nervous one haha
