« on: April 03, 2014, 06:19:35 AM »
I thought the weather was improving so set off for a ride into the Peak district over the Snake Pass to Sheffield and back over the A628.

Normally a nice run great roads fantastic views.  :fp

In some places you could see where you were going.  :p

Had the camera running if the video is any good i'll post it soon.  :wink1

Same as the fog we got at Mt Hotham and always got in Victoria regardless of the time of year.

Might have looked the same, but I'll bet it was different.
Pommie water vapour rather than our pure mists.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Some great riding roads there mate - just have to get rid of the traffic!     :cuss

Also - is deer darting out on the road a problem there? Looks like not much warning if one decides to go across at pace in some places.      :eek

Thanks for sharing.     :thumb

We don't have the same problem with wildlife as you guys it does happen but very rare, more likely to meet sheep on road.  :wink1
