While you lazy buggers were out there enjoying yourselves at Towoomba, I was out here working hard in representing OzSTOC at the One Dayer Black Dog Ride. Somebody had to fly the flag and show off the new jacket.  :thumbs :hatwave
Red, loud, rowdy, and proud.

I don't want a pickle...I just wanna ride my motorcikle!

Well Teela and I are home safe, it has been a full on few days, taking out the rally ride I covered 8km on the bike....so it was a 168km total trip!

it was a sensational event, and loved every minute of it, huge thanks and handshakes to Wild Rose and PC, as between the 3 of us it all went smoothly, with a minimum of fuss!

this is my favourite time of year for sure, bring on WA!!

the photography from this year is going to be sensational! here is a shot given to me by one of the photographers, I am impatiently waiting for the rest...no pressure to get them done of course

To everyone I met this year, thank you so much for coming, I tried to remember and say goodbye to you all, but there was simply to many good people!

Great weekend, Leandra and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.  Well done to the Toowoomba team, what a great effort, a special thanks to our National Rally Co-ordinater, Peter for his ongoing support and our three amigos, Pockey, Saaz and ST2UP for all the work you do  :rockon

To all the other participants, what a great group of people  :clap thank you all for the camaraderie that was in abundance.

Jenny and I are home after an uneventful trip home to Brisbane. Short but sweet; we stopped for a coffee and bun at Fernvale Bakery, then over Mt.Glorious - a slow trip in the wind, rain and fog with lots of leaf litter and a fallen tree to navigate!
As first-timers at a National Rally we had an absolute blast this weekend!  It was great to see so many who had come so far and it was a pleasure to meet lots of new faces.
To everyone who had a hand in organising this event - THANK YOU !! I know it was over a year in the planning, and the plans paid off.  Everything went so smoothly ( if there were any glitches, they passed in-noticed).
Saturday's ride was excellent: from the pre-ride briefing, smoko at Rudd's Pub at Nobby, to Lunch at Leyburn; all excellent.
The Rally Dinner at Regents on the Lake was terrific too. A great meal and many stories and laughs.
Congratulations to all award winners - particularly to Diesel and Streak on their Life Membership.
Now to start planning for PERTH 2016 👍👍

What a great weekend I throughly enjoyed every minute,
Everyone was thanking the organising committee for for such a wonderful Rally.
But it was all the OzSTOC members that made their way to Toowoomba Queensland that made this 2015 Rally so successful.
Thanks everyone  :like

It was nice to meet heaps of you on Fri night/Sun morning...  pity Toowoomba didn't put on better weather, it had been bone dry and warm for the 3 weeks before the rally!

Ride safe all, and plan on seeing plenty of the SE-qld mob on other rides   :blk11

We wandered home and arrived about 2:45pm all safe and sound.....but the road was still calling  :think1

So as Pockey was back to work in the morning I jumped back on STig and headed for the Coast in search of ST's and knew just where a couple where staying the night on the North Coast.....so crashed their little party.....you should have seen their faces as I was talking to them on the phone pretending to be at home and road rode into the park they where staying up to their front door  :nahnah

So favourite breky spot on the coast tomorrow and a run up the waterfall way  :runyay

Congratulations to the organisers for putting on one of the best rallies I have ever attended. Bring on WA.
I apologise for arriving at the rally site a day early so I could attend to some business. The park managers were pleased to take some extra money. Also I extended my stay in the caravan park for another day after the rally finished. I hope you can forgive me. I'll try to do better next year.
For those who asked, I completed an SS1600 on the way back. It was to be an SS2000 but I encountered a storm just north of Gundagai so I made Gundagai the turn point for home.

Well, arrived home today, just ahead of a heavy storm. Thought I might have got damp on the way out of Toowoomba when the sign said road to Goondiwindi "CLOSED". Turned out ok as the water had gone down by the time I got there.

Great trip down the Newell, had to refill cooling system at Narrabri, but other than that, great.

Thanks to all for a fantastic rally and looking forward to the next one as well as other RTE's along the way.

Special thanks to Tipsy for the radiator cap and johnnyYTED for the cabin share.

Don't forget 27/28 June at Gulargambone and everyone keep it safe.

Cheers

I got back at 3pm this afternoon. All up 3000 kms for ride that should only take 2200km.  On the way back stayed in Tamworth after doing the Gwydir highway (the shortcut to it before Glen Innes is the Bald Knob road, so how appropriate after the weekend  :thumb ) and then from Grafton up to Ebor the back way.  Went New England and the freeway back as rain was forecast on all routes home, so plans to go through the mountains by a few ways with another overnight stop over were put on hold. Only got a bit wet after Sydney in the pouring rain but dried out soon after - not bad enough to stop to put on inner lining and wet weather pants.

Thanks for a great time all - it is the people who go to these events that make them so enjoyable  :runyay

Well Denis Diane are home safely after great time. We had very hot trip up but enjoyed our first long ride. Thanks to the organisers you couldn't better what you provided for us. The ride home was cooler and arrived couple off days early as 700k days were enjoyed and Vic did not disappoint as cold and wet last hour. 3900ks for the week and not one idiot on the road so very happy. My thanks as well to the organisers and the great people who make up the club. What a great weekend (except for the weather :)), meeting so many great people and looking at the work some (others...) do on their machines. Thanks to all who attended and organised this wonderful event.
I had a great ride up the coast and through Kyogle to Toowoomba and then an interesting and dry (only just though) ride back via the new England and Thunderbolts way.
