Home today after National meet and around 5,280km.

Rode from Cessnock to Oberon on Saturday, through the rain that stopped the horse racing. I like my OzSTOC jacket, but it ain't water proof.

Moderators can be nasty, and can alter post counts if they feel that they they havent been earned.

Marcus could be the inaugural -5000 post holder....

Perhaps a post count increment can be applied if the post contains at least 25 words in at least one meaningful sentence.
em-thingies may be liberally applied but not included in the word count.
Such a rule would decimate some of the supposed post counts we see on the Forum.

After 5 weeks and 5 hours, 12,863 kms, over 620 litres of fuel at a cost of over $900 I arrived home today with Theresa who besides joining me for a weekend in Sydney and again in Brisbane for the rally also joined me in Adelaide for the final 3,000 kms.
During a weeks stopover in Victor Harbor on the way home I had a total of 3 days when I actually didn't ride the bike.

Rob’s finished his first loop. The bike’s parked up in the Blue Mountains and I’ll continue the Oz trip later in June.
Thanks guys for a fantastic Rally and the riding companionship both up to Toowoomba and then on to Esk.
Here’s where I went afterwards…
11,200 Km
534 litres of petrol
$825 petrol (includes obligatory coffee and pie at each roadhouse stop)

Nude swim at Crystal Creek, Townsville. Won't need a shower for another few days now...

Up Mossman way - Very nice

Heading towards Mt Isa in 40 degree heat

Nothing much else to see as you enter the NT
