Shiney's joke
« on: April 29, 2014, 01:44:34 AM »
Here’s a joke I made up last night. :CB--

I hope you like it :grin

After another painful day of riding around Oz on his Harley, John sets up camp for the night at a nice little place by an out of the way creek.
He has a good feed from a can and a few drinks too dull the pain, then turns in for the night.

As soon as he lies down John feels a sharp pain in his back. "There must be a rock under the tent" he thinks.
Back out of the tent he crawls and digs around underneath to remove the annoying lump, only to discover it was a half-buried lamp.

He gives the lamp a rub and a genie appears in a great cloud of dust.

“Thanks for letting me out of there mate, I’ve been stuck in there for a bloody long time. To show my appreciation I’ll give you three wishes instead of the standard one.”
“No worries” says John a bit stunned. He has a good long think then says, “I know what I want for my three wishes”
“For my first wish I want the best motorcycle ever invented for touring, this Harley is horrible!”
“For my second wish I want a bank card with unlimited funds”
“And for my last wish” he says with a grin “I wish for more wishes”

“Sorry mate” says the genie, “The Honda ST and the bank card aren’t a worry, but that last wish I can’t do. I guess you haven’t heard the genie rules that bind all genies.”
“Genies can't bring back the dead”
“Genies can't make anyone fall in love with you”
“Genies can’t kill anyone”
“And genies can’t give more than three wishes to anyone”

Devastated that his plan for more wishes failed, John wonders down to the creek for a good long think…

After quite some time, long enough for the genie to have almost finished drinking all John’s brews, John jumps to his feet and runs back to camp.

“I’ve got it” he yells.

“For my final wish,”

“I”

“WISH”

“FOR”

“MORE”

“GENIES!”

Well done Shiney.  Lots of good style, and as George says, this is A FIRST!      ++
That one will be around the 'net in an hour.
Then it will just be another old joke.     :'(
