Wild Ride in San Francisco
« on: May 15, 2014, 07:17:25 PM »
What's known as real horsepower, from a four cylinder 2 litre engine [around 600 I believe] with turbo, in a Ford Fiesta, four wheel drive, weight around 800kg max.

Horsepower ain’t everything............ but it’s ‘way ahead of whatever’s in second place!!!

652 hp Ford Focus. It's a Ford promo driven by one of the
best drivers ever for this type of racing.
I can't imagine what it cost for this commercial when you
see how much of the city was shut down for this,
all the cameras and the staging, and the re-runs.
Wow - fun to watch, however.

I had initially thought it was all done in one take, but after seeing all the tell tale skid marks, I looked at some of his other "gymkhanas". Still a top driver in anyone's books
