When is a 1,000 not a 1,000

This post will initially show up as my 995th post with the post before this one to the RTE at New Norcia Thread showing as 994 when initially posted.
The recent cancellation of the June Bindoon RTE thread cancelled 6 of my posts so this really should be my 1,001 post.  :-[
