If any members living in Brisbane, or thereabouts, are lucky enough to be going to see the musical, "CATS" which will be opening tomorrow evening at the Brisbane Convention Centre, look out for the Magical Mr Mistoffelees. Mr Mistof is the principle dance role in the entire musical and will be performed by non other than my very talented son, Steven Bishop!!  Steven, who now resides most of the time in the US has been a professional dancer since the age of 18, and has performed all over the world.  I'm so proud of Steven, as I am of all my sons, and beautiful daughter (of course)!! :grin

Performing in Tokyo under contract for Disney US

Excellent achievement!
You're justifiably proud.  That's a great musical, and wonderful to have the leading role.

You obviously did something right bringing up the kids.   ++
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Congratulations COUCH.

From your previous comments in this forum, I feel that there is a lot of family support behind you kids which goes a long way to make their career choices work.

Keep up the good work, they will need it.

Regards

He is Marcus, he's studied dance from the age of five (now aged 28) and never been out of work. He won dozens of dance championships in Brisbane/Gold Coast throughout his early years and was sought after by Brisbane Ballet but didn't want to become a ballet dancer. He's a brilliant jazz dancer and very talented in all aspects of stage performance!  He only returned from the US recently and walked straight into this role. :grin
