The Yike Bike . . . How clever is this....
« on: July 06, 2014, 08:26:54 PM »
Looks like a "mobile death-trap" to me ! No helmets?

Either this was filmed before the earthquake or they now have the trams up and running.

The Yike Bike . . . Take a look at this, made in Christchurch New Zealand

Looks the goods, but how about showing us an emergency stop?
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I would much prefer the usual size push bike.

If they can put that sort of technology into a bike of this size I see no reason why they can't do it for the normal sized pushie, but then who's to say they haven't already!

Doesn't sound like a solution for a car turning in front of you!!
