All packed for my Big Adventure to Airlie Beach.

I noticed during the week that one of my Tail lights wasn't working, so on the way home this evening I stopped in at Super Cheap to grab a couple of 21/5 W bulbs.
I got onto the forum and found a short how-to from Diesel and and proceeded to remove the lower rear mud guard (number plate holder) and turned the the bulb holder anti-clockwise only to discover I'd bought the wrong type of bulb.

So before I rushed back to Super Cheap to get the correct bulbs, I thought I would confirm it was the bulb and not a fault in the wiring. I proceeded to remove the working bulb from the socket and put it into the other socket. No light
Now I checked the fuse it and it was OK.

Pan has done over 90,000 km, maybe disturbing the other bulb was catastrophic. Brought both bulbs into the bright light and discovered both had blown.

So it being 7:30 pm and with me wanting to head off at about 7:30 am tomorrow, I rushed down to Super Cheap and bought the correct bulbs.
Came home, fitted one in the previously failed socket, turned on the ignition and viola, light. Right, 2nd bulb in, viola, more light.

A quick re-assemble (and pannier and top box clean out) and it was time to start packing the bike.

is to be had. After two and a half months in the bosses chair, some corner therapy is looking good.
Those that make it, see you there.
